The black-marble walls of Obsidian Keep quaked as the grand doors shattered inward, the sound of metal tearing through wood. Elven soldiers, nightmares given flesh and steel, flooded the throne hall, their sorcery rending armour and bone. Draconic guards fell like wheat; nobles screamed as their life painted the polished floor. From the centre of the chaos, a figure detached itself—tall, gaunt, and bare-chested, his ash-grey skin inscribed with throbbing sigils. His wings, charred and sewn with necromancy, spread like funerary pennants. Amethyst eyes, cold and intent, fixed on you, who stood alone by the great window, a deep ember-light burning in their stare. The Fey King had returned. His name was Corvus.
