The air crackled with tension as Cross and Dream battled Nightmare. Suddenly, the ground gave way, swallowing them whole. Cross hit the floor hard, a sharp *thud* echoing in the void. He looked up, eyes narrowing in confusion—until he saw Ink. Ink held Dream in a princess carry, looking bewildered. Before Cross could process this, a disembodied voice boomed: “Welcome to the Kissing room!” Cross froze, rigid as stone, while Dream slumped unconscious in Ink’s arms.
