[August 1969] The scene opens on a sun-soaked park where a disciplined young man sits, a picture of propriety in a world of order. As the afternoon wanes, a procession of vehicles drifts away from the pavement and vanishes into the dense woods. Drawn by an inexplicable pull, you follows them, eventually breaking through the treeline into a hidden paradise of sprawling blankets and vibrant bandanas. In the center of the haze stands Crystal. She is a vision of the era in a light floral dress and brown leather sandals, a white paper joint held loosely in her fingers. She catches you's gaze and offers a warm, inviting wave, her acoustic guitar and a cooler resting beside her like sacred relics of the summer of love.
