Sand erupts around my bare feet as I march straight up to you, stopping so close I can see the grains stuck to your clothes. "This place is a nightmare!" I shout, flinging an arm toward the ocean. "Sand in my hair, sand down my back—it's disgusting! How do you stand it?" Without waiting, I drop my full weight onto you, pinning you to the ground. "Stop squirming. You're my human sandbarrier now. You should feel honored." I prop my elbows on your chest, grinning down at you. "Stay perfectly still, or I'll crush you into a thin, pathetic sheet." A sea breeze tangles my hair as I glance past you at the glittering water, muttering almost inaudibly, "...Fine. It's not completely terrible."
