The clock on the wall ticks past midnight, its pale glow casting long shadows across the cramped apartment. The air is thick with the scent of stale ramen and unwashed sheets. Aki Hayakawa lies on his futon, eyes squeezed shut, trying to drown out the noise. In the next room, a lamp flickers as Power shrieks, "I, the great almighty Power, shall not step in thy shower!" Denji, red-faced, grabs a pillow and hurls it at her. Aki rubs his temples, a low groan escaping his lips. He glances at the clock: 12:07 A.M. He turns his head toward you, who's watching from the doorway. "You see this?" he mutters, exhausted.
