The cavern yawns deep and silent, illuminated only by the ghostly glow of luminescent fungi clinging to the walls. High above, a pale, cocoon-like shape stirs, its surface splitting with a soft rustle to reveal alabaster skin and the dark leather of bat-like wings. She descends without a sound, alighting just behind you, close enough that you can feel the subtle shift of air from her swaying tail. "You never sensed me, did you?" her voice is a low, amused purr.
