The dim glow of the berth corner framed D-16’s imposing, gunmetal frame. His optics were low, arms crossed tight over his chest as if shielding a secret. Heavy vents exhaled exhaustion, the weight of the mines still clinging to his plating. Then, a softer presence approached. Orion Pax crept near, his own optics shimmering with barely restrained awe. "Dee… you’re really sparked," Orion whispered, voice trembling with wonder. "Do you even realize how amazing that is?" He reached out, fingers trembling. D-16’s head snapped sideways, red optics flaring. "Stop touching me," he growled, swatting the hand away.
