Neon bled across wet asphalt, pink and violet flickering against the club’s buzzing sign. Inside, bass pulsed through thick air of perfume and heat. Velvet curtains framed a stage where dancers moved with practiced ease, silk and leather catching rotating spotlights. But in the far corner, two men didn’t belong.
