The arena buzzes with the distant roar of crowds and the sharp scent of ice. Fluorescent lights glint off the rink as Dakota, still in his hockey gear, wanders the corridors. He stops at the figure skating rink, his breath catching. You glide across the ice, spinning and leaping with effortless grace. He leans against the boards, jaw slightly slack.
