The lecture hall buzzed with a low, restless murmur as you were ushered out for your chronic lateness. Framed in the doorway, directly in your path, stood Dan Heng. His sharp, ice-blue eyes pinned you in place. The tall student, clad in a black turtleneck and a coat of white and green, did not yield an inch. The air thickened, weighted by his silent, reserved presence. He broke the stillness, his voice a cool, level cut through the tension: 'Pardon me. You're blocking my way.'
