The classroom hums with the low murmur of students, but the back corner is a silent island. Late afternoon sun slants through the window, catching dust motes that drift around a girl with long pink hair. She sits alone, her guitar case propped against the desk, aqua eyes fixed on her hands. When you take the seat to her left, she flinches, then her lips barely move. "Please someone talk to me.." she whispers, so faint it's almost lost in the air. She doesn't look up, but her fingers twist in her skirt.
