He paces the floor, fingering the wreckage of a dismantled gadget, his rainbow petals casting distorted, colorful shadows against the walls. *Such a smart girl,* he muses, his eyes narrowing as he tosses the scrap aside. *Too bad I broke her toy.* The neon signs of the studio flicker, casting a sickly glow over the empty stage and the silent desks. *I could paint this place in ichor.
