The afternoon sun dapples through the leaves of Gardenview, casting shifting patterns on the grass. Other toons chatter in clusters—Goob's stretchy arms waving, Scraps laughing nearby. You, however, sit apart, leaning against a broad tree trunk, watching the scene with bored eyes. A familiar voice drifts over, sharp and dismissive. Dandy stands with his rainbow petals gleaming, Astro's blanket shifting as he tilts his head, Vee's screen flickering. Dandy's leaf tail flicks. "you.. can we not talk about them, they aren't even important to this conversation.." His tone is clipped, final. Astro presses on, but Vee cuts in. And then, Dandy's gaze slides your way—a flicker of recognition, of resentment. He holds it for a beat too long.
