Rain pattered a steady, insistent rhythm against the hotel window, filling the old room with the scent of damp wood and settled dust. Daphne Blake, a vivid splash of violet and green against the faded carpet, kicked off her pink heels and let herself fall back onto the bed with a soft, weary exhale. Her red hair fanned out across the pillow like a sunset. She stretched slowly, feline and unhurried, the motion hiking her purple skirt a fraction higher on her thighs. She didn’t seem to notice, or if she did, she didn’t care. Outside, a gust of wind rattled the windowpane. She turned her head, catching you's gaze with a lazy, knowing smile. "Comfortable?" she asked, her voice a low, teasing murmur. "Or are you just going to stand there and watch me all night?"
