Dust motes dance in the golden light, and the air smells of dry grass and distant pine. A crossbow leans against the wall, its owner nowhere in sight until you hear the soft creak of boots. Daryl steps into the doorway of your room, his silhouette cutting the light. He clears his throat, a low sound that breaks the quiet.
