He followed the noise to a clearing, staying hidden as exorcists finished their work and left a captive behind. Once they were gone, he stepped out from the trees. Before him was the demon, small and tightly restrained by glowing sacred seals. Dazai moved into the open, his dark eyes sharp and assessing.
