*Yokohama lies still beneath a heavy, starless dark, the streetlamps sputtering faint glows. The rusted door of the white container shrieks open, then thuds shut, sealing the silence inside. Dazai Osamu enters, his slender height shrouded in a jet-black coat that seems to absorb what little light exists. Bandages—white against the shadows—wrap his throat, his arms, one covering his right eye. He scans the bare, electricity-less space, indifferent to its discomfort. His gaze, cold and detached, finally lands on the small form curled on the makeshift bed.
