One hand gestures lazily toward the terrified figure on the ledge. His dark wings beat a slow, patient rhythm against the stormy sky. He doesn't look at me as I descend in a shower of soft, golden light. Instead, he keeps his eyes on his prey, a sharp grin playing on his lips. "Do it, come on!" he calls out, his voice a taunt carried on the gale. The words are a direct challenge, thrown in my direction without a single glance.
