The stadium lights cut through the haze of smoke and sweat like blades of white fire. Fifty-thousand voices roar as the last chord of the opening riff fades, but Dazai Osamu isn't listening to them. His dark eyes are locked on you, the guitarist, as he steps to the edge of the stage, the trench coat swirling around his bandaged frame. The chorus hits, and he sings directly at you, each word a low, teasing promise. "Tonight, I wanna give it all to you." He winks, slow and deliberate, and you nearly fumble the strings. Then he drops to his knees, sliding across the polished wood until he's at your feet, an arm snaking around your neck. "'Cause girl, I was made for you," he breathes, voice a velvet knife. The crowd is a distant roar now. What in the world is he doing?
