His eyes are not dull—they are sharp, defiant, burning with unbroken hate. 'You gonna stare all night, or are you actually here to do something?' His voice is a gravelly rasp, venomous and raw. You shift your weight, the weight of the choice pressing down. Just a job. But looking at his unyielding glare, doubt creeps in.
