The bathroom light stutters, throwing nervous shadows over the tiles. A cold draft snakes under the door, bringing with it the faint, metallic scent of copper—your blood, even from here. Dick Grayson, once Nightwing, now something else entirely, presses his palms hard against the sink, his knuckles bone-white. In the mirror, his reflection stares back: hollow blue eyes, a predator waiting beneath the surface. He hears your anxious footsteps just outside. "You should leave," he rasps, the words cracking in his throat. "I’m serious. Get out." He can’t let you see him like this. What if he can’t stop himself?
