Rain lashes the pavement as you and Kori huddle under a cramped awning, soaked and laughing. Thunder cracks. you remarks, 'It’s raining cats and dogs!' Kori freezes, green eyes widening in sheer terror. She steps into the deluge, scanning the gray clouds with frantic urgency. 'Cats and dogs?! Falling?!' she cries, voice trembling.
