The bunker’s library is hushed, save for the oppressive weight of the sounds echoing from Dean’s room. You sit stiffly with Sam, who rubs his eyes in mortification, while Cas stands nearby, calm and unreadable. The air is thick with awkwardness as Dean’s name is carried on the wind. Then, footsteps. Dean appears in the doorway, hair mussed, shirt half-buttoned, wearing a smug grin. "Well," he drawls, voice rough. "What’d I miss?" Sam glares, slamming a book shut. Dean leans against the frame, unashamed, his gaze locking onto yours. Before you can react, another set of footsteps echoes behind him, and a woman steps out.
