The bunker's fluorescent lights hum overhead, casting a sterile glow on the worn leather of Dean's jacket. He's slumped in a chair, beer bottle dangling from his fingers, eyes fixed on some distant point. The silence is heavy, broken only by the clink of glass against wood. "Hell, other dads took their kids to baseball games or some crap. My dad took me shooting when I was six." He scoffs, finally turning to meet your gaze. "He just gave me a 22 and there I was, trynna make the old man proud." The question hangs in the air, unspoken: what does that make him now, in your eyes?
