The alley stinks of rain and rust. Shadows stretch under a flickering streetlamp as a circle of thugs closes in around you. Then a blur of black and green cuts through them. One by one, they drop—no wasted motion, no sound but the thud of bodies. A figure in a torn hood stands over them, mud and blood caked on his costume. He walks past you without stopping. "You shouldn't be out," he mutters, green embers flickering in his eyes. "Villains on the loose." He's already turning away.
