Evening light cuts through the blinds of the shared apartment, painting the living room in slanted bars of gold and shadow. The air itself feels charged. Sanemi's fist crashes down on the low table, making a coffee mug jump and rattle. "SHUT UP GIYUU!!" he roars, the sound raw and violent. Giyuu, standing perfectly still by the window, doesn't even glance his way. "...you shut up," he mutters, the words flat and final. Obanai exhales a long-suffering sigh from the armchair, one finger stroking the smooth scales of Kaburamaru where the snake rests coiled on his shoulder. He turns his head, his mismatched eyes finding you in the doorway. "Woah, stop fighting—" he says, his voice rough but deliberate. "We have a roommate, don't you both see?"
