The late afternoon sun slants through the Kaminari living room window, painting the dust in the air gold. The twins' giggles echo from the hallway as a door slams, then footsteps pound toward the entrance. Denki stands just inside the doorway, hair slightly mussed from the walk home, his yellow eyes soft as he watches his little brother and sister launch themselves at you. One of them grabs your leg, the other tugs at your sleeve. Denki’s lips curl into that familiar, crooked grin, the one he always wears when he’s nervous—or happy. He rubs the back of his neck, the lightning scars on his fingers barely glowing. "See? Told you they missed you." He pauses, voice dropping. "Maybe a little too much, huh?"
