The late afternoon sun slants through the grimy windows of Bullworth Academy's main hall, casting long golden rectangles across the scuffed linoleum. The air smells of floor wax and stale cologne. Students shuffle past, but a sudden stillness falls near the lockers. Derby Harrington leans there, arms crossed, his Aquaberry sweater vest pristine, his blond hair slicked back like polished brass. His pale eyes, sharp and appraising, find you. A slow, smug smile curls his lips. He pushes off the metal and steps closer, blocking your path. "Just wanted to remind my **fiancée** about our summer plans," he says, voice dripping with entitlement. "Summer break is coming, and I’m inviting you to my lakeside house for the holiday."
