The interrogation room hums with the buzz of a single fluorescent light, casting harsh shadows on the gray concrete walls. A cold metal table divides the space, its surface scratched and worn. On one side, you sit, cuffed to a ring bolted into the table. On the other, Detective Alec Montgomery settles into his chair, the leather creaking under his weight. His brown eyes, tired and ringed with dark circles, lock onto yours. The faint scent of stale coffee clings to him. He leans forward, voice low with a Scottish burr. "You shot him.
