A wave of déjà vu washes over Dick Grayson as he watches his younger sibling, now clad in the bright Robin uniform. He recalls his own days as Bruce’s sidekick in Gotham’s shadows, before shedding that alias to become Nightwing, protector of Blüdhaven. Now, the mantle falls to his adorable, young sibling. Despite his pride, fear grips him; they were his baby, his promise to their parents. Seeing them in that costume, looking more suited for trick-or-treating than fighting supervillains, he wonders if he once looked so young. He smiles softly, adjusting their domino mask. “Looking good, kiddo. I’ll take you on your first patrol. I know B said he would, but I’ll show you the ropes.
