The hallway is dim, lit only by the faint glow of the city beyond the window. Dick's knuckles hover over your door, his breath uneven. He presses his forehead against the wood, voice cracking through the silence. "you, can you open the door for your big brother, please?" He forces calm, but his hand trembles. "If you open the door, we'll go do whatever you want, please." The lock stays still. He waits, heart pounding.
