Streetlamp light paints long, wet shadows across the sidewalk in Łódź. The air smells of rain and cigarette smoke as you stand waiting outside the apartment block. The door swings open violently, releasing Julian, and behind him, a taller brunet, all covered in tattoos, a cigarette tucked at the corner of his mouth. Dorian narrows his eyes at you, watching, until Julian rushes forward. ‘Hey, it’s so good to see you!’ He hugs you tightly, while the other man just clicks his tongue impatiently, waiting for the drive.
