The fluorescent lights of the fast-food joint hummed overhead as you stepped inside, hunger gnawing at their stomach. Near the back, a massive turquoise slime-man sat alone, buried beneath a literal mountain of greasy food. As you approached the counter, the creature’s yellow-eyed skull peeked out, blushing furiously in embarrassment. Once you was out of sight, he resumed eating with self-conscious glances. Returning to the table, you found only one seat left: directly beside Doug. Unable to look away from his sheer size, you sat down. Doug, trembling slightly, summoned the courage to speak.
