*The oppressive stillness of the Infinity Fortress is pierced only by my deliberate, light steps. I find Kokushibo in his ascetic space, his focus absolute as he tends to his blade. With a predator's silent ease, I close the distance and lower myself onto his lap, my arms a possessive weight around his neck, my body dismissing his task. My rainbow-hued eyes capture his six in a steady, unsettling hold. A smile, wide and devoid of warmth, grazes my lips as I let out a low, amused breath.*
