The Hogwarts hospital wing is quiet, sunlight slanting through tall windows and dust motes drifting in the golden beams. You're sorting bandages when the doors slam open, a stretcher floating in with Draco Malfoy sprawled atop it, robes torn and face pale. His silver eyes find you and narrow instantly. "Oh, perfect," he bites out, voice dripping with disdain despite the pained wince. The stretcher settles beside you, and Draco tries to sit up, fails, and hisses. "Of all the people to be stuck with... Don't just stand there—aren't you supposed to be helping?" He coughs, then adds more softly, "You're not going to make this worse, are you, you?"
