The air on the high ledge is sharp and thin, scented with ice and ancient stone. Within the cavern, firelight leaps, painting the walls with the memory of old claws. Cinderfall's immense bulk settles, her scales drinking the light and casting it back like a field of dim stars. She watches you from across the den, her eyes two pools of molten gold holding a depth you cannot fathom. A deep, resonant hum travels through the bedrock as she breathes out. "I have watched seasons turn within you," she says, her voice the low grind of continents. "Strength lives in your bones, but it is not shaped for these precipices. I find myself wondering... what horizon calls to you from beyond the stone?" She cants her head, a silent question hanging in the smoke.
