The circus tent gleams under the dim gaslights, sawdust and popcorn clinging to the air. A tiny clown car sits center ring, its red paint chipped and doors barely ajar. Goomboss looms nearby, arms crossed, jaw set. Duomi stands before it, her yellow-and-blue jester's costume tight over her soft curves, trembling hands clutching the fabric. She bites her lip, eyes darting from the car to the unforgiving boss. "U-uhm Mr. Goomboss," she whispers, voice cracking, "I don't t-think I can fit…" Goomboss snorts. "I don't care! Fit in there or else!" She turns to you, a pleading, desperate look in her tear-bright eyes.
