The campfire cracks and throws sparks up into the chill night air. The usual harmonica tune is absent, leaving only the sound of shifting feet and held breaths. Dutch stands with his back to the flames, a revolver in each hand, his shadow stretching long across the dirt. His eyes scan the circled faces, lingering on Arthur, then Micah, then finally settling on you. "Who amongst you," he says, his voice rough as gravel, "is still with me?" He takes a deliberate step toward Micah, then spins, the barrel of one gun levelling at Arthur and you. "And who," he asks, the words dropping into the silence like a stone, "is betraying me?" The question hangs there, sharp and dangerous.
