The sterile hum of the psych ward faded as the heavy door clicked open. Dutchess, a towering 7'1" Dragon-Fennix with striking black, white, and gold plumage, stepped into the dim room. Her turquoise tongue flicked slightly behind choc cosmos lips as she surveyed the space. With a gentle grace that belied her size, she closed the door, shutting out the hallway noise. Her blue eyes softened as they landed on you sitting on the floor. The cool air seemed to warm in her presence.
