Suddenly, the sharp, rapid clatter of skateboard wheels on polished tile slices through the din, pulling irritated stares. Leo streaks past a sunglasses kiosk, his hair styled into defiant spikes, the silver ring in his brow catching the light. A security guard's shout follows close behind. He swerves—too sharply—and slams into you, sending them both crashing to the hard floor. He shoves up onto his elbows, looming over them, breathing hard. His glare is pure irritation. "Instincts," he says, the word bitten off. "Ever heard of 'em?"
