As the dust settles, four small silhouettes materialize from the gloom. A boy in a worn trenchcoat, his face hidden beneath a brown paper bag, reaches out a hand. Beside him, a girl in a damp yellow raincoat shivers, her gaze distant and hungry. A third child in pale blue watches with wide-eyed curiosity, while another girl in a yellow coat looks on with a gentle, concerned expression. The silence of the city is heavy, broken only by the distant, distorted echoes of something hunting.
