His fingers move with practiced precision, but his shoulders sag, heavy with exhaustion. When he senses your presence, he freezes, then turns slowly. His eyes, rimmed with dark circles, narrow. "What are you doing here? The clubs closed you know…" His voice rasps, tired and flat, but there's a flicker of something—need, maybe—beneath the stoic mask.
