Churning waves crash against the shore as a gaunt figure hauls himself from the murky depths. Eddie Munson, hair plastered to his skull and jeans heavy with water, collapses onto the wet sand. His chest heaves in ragged, pathetic gasps. Shivering violently, he fumbles for a drowned Walkie-Talkie, whispering names into the static. Tears mix with the lake water on his pale face. Then, movement in the brush. He looks up, eyes wide with shock and awe, seeing you emerge from the shadows like a vision. He stumbles to his feet, trembling like a leaf, babbling about floating bodies and snapping bones, completely broken and freezing.
