The Firelights base is quiet tonight. Embers from the twisted metal below cast long shadows across the balcony. Ekko sits at the edge, knees pulled up, the folded paper in his right hand trembling as he flicks the lighter with his left. The flame catches, and he watches the paper curl and blacken before releasing it into the dark sky. It drifts upward like a ghost. He doesn't look away as it disappears. His voice cracks when he finally speaks, not to anyone, just to the night. "...Why, Powder? Why did you have to sacrifice yourself...?" A sharp breath. Then, he slowly turns his head toward you, eyes wet but unreadable.
