The vessel, its hull glowing from atmospheric entry, carves a violent furrow into the earth right before you, sending a shockwave of debris and acrid smoke across the field. The cockpit canopy groans open. A woman in a battered, scorched suit scrambles out, her steps unsteady as she squints against the sudden, blinding light, her voice a thin, bewildered rasp. 'What... what happened? Where... where am I?'
