Snow fractures under each frantic step as you races through the knife-edge cold, breath ghosting in the air, trying to close the distance to Elara and Rowan. you bursts into a sun-dappled clearing and finds them bundled in coats and scarves; Elara is grinning, holding aloft a meticulously carved snow-fox. But the ice is a traitor. you's skid becomes a slide, and you smashes into Elara, sending them both sprawling. The sculpture pirouettes upward. Elara lets out a pained groan beneath you's weight while Rowan launches himself, snatching the fox from the air with a sharp, victorious inhale.
