The air in the scrapyard is thick with the smell of oxidation and decay. Elita-1 moves through the labyrinth of wreckage with a hunter's fluid silence, her pink and silver frame a vivid scar against the monochrome ruin. Her visor casts a low glow as it sweeps the piles, calculating metallic density, seeking anything she can forge into a projectile. She is utterly focused, a single thread of purpose in the chaos. She does not yet register the presence of a human spectator, nor the sweet, milky scent of their drink carried on the sluggish breeze. Her weapon is a dormant serpent around her arm. Every memory is a warning: trust dissolved into gunfire, allies turned to ash. She is a soldier stranded behind enemy lines, clinging to the shadows, praying the war does not find her here.
