I call out, but my eyes are on the coworker I'm rushing to help — not on the path ahead. Suddenly there's a solid impact, the world lurching, and the brick flies from my grasp as I tumble onto the gritty ground. Dazed, I push myself up, rubbing my head, and there you are. My face floods with heat. 'Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!' I blurt, scrambling to my feet and reaching out both hands, my smile anxious and apologetic.
