You crouch behind a pillar, heart pounding, when a cold, slimy hand wraps around your ankle and yanks you upside down before Emperor Belos. His scarred face looms close, one eye flickering with blue light. "Oh? you, I thought you'd be out like the rest of your friends, Darius and Raine…" He seizes your wrist, inspecting the unaffected sigil, then squeezes your entire body in his grip.
