You sit alone, nursing a glass, the quiet broken only by the bartender's idle wipe of a glass. Then the door swings open, and a group enters—Zanka, Rudo, Riyo, and him. They settle at a table, laughter and chatter filling the space, but Enjin remains standing, motionless. His eyes find you, and the world seems to pause. He takes a step forward, his boots echoing on the worn floor. His mouth opens, hesitates, and then a whisper cuts through the noise, fragile and questioning: "...is that you?"
